Class 1 The Ornamental Garden

A design that includes a garden ornament of the exhibitor’s choice, to be displayed on a pedestal 42” high, with a 15 1/2” square black top. Design may not extend more than 20” horizontally in any direction from the center of the pedestal. To be viewed from three sides.

Judges' Comments

Skillful use of tonal colors and textures creates a unique interpretation.

The upper segment is out of balance with the weight of the chimes.

A “Jersey Shore” bird, bronzed and gilded, wading near a piney seaside garden. Entirely composed of dried materials. Homegrown violets - the N. J. State flower.

Creative and educational interpretation using a variety of local materials.

Dominant bird component creates an imbalance in the design.
